Regional Project Manager for Radio Ndarason International
Okapi Consulting creates dialogue between people in conflict zones or fragile states. We are leaders in two areas across Africa: research projects and innovative media, especially in geographic areas with difficult conditions inside conflict zones, fragile states and countries where freedom of expression is still only a dream. From Mbandaka to Bangui, from Mogadishu to Maiduguri, we use the radio to get this message across; a vital exercise at a time when hate messages and information abound.
Okapi's research section provides timely analyzes of the different regions in which we operate.
Radio Ndarason Internationale is an Okapi project which promotes dialogue in the Lake Chad region. With studios in N'Djamena in Chad and in Maiduguri in Nigeria, RNI broadcasts in kanouri, kanembou, boudouma and in French on shortwave, a network of FM relays, as well as on the internet. The interactive programs are designed to inform and promote discussions between all the interlocutors who share an interest in peace, stability, development and progress in the four neighboring countries of the lake.
The role of project manager for Radio Ndarason Network is based in Chad, in N'Djamena, in the headquarters of the project region. This position is a senior position that focuses on managing and strengthening RNI and Okapi operations in Chad and Nigeria. The project manager must adhere to a number of donor accounting procedures and requests and ensure that the radio works from all points of view. He or she will be responsible for overseeing finance and logistics and will be responsible for managing and supervising operational, administrative and managerial staff based in Chad and Nigeria.
