Job Description

Overall Responsibilities:

• The CPM will guide and support the implementation of a 5 years project aiming at firstly developing protocols of comprehensive cares for children and adults with brain lesions, and secondly at strengthening the capacities of schools to propose for OT and PTs training following international standards.


Responsibility 1 :
• Project Implementation : Ensure that relevant technical policies, methods and approaches are implemented according to the local context , the project specificities (multidisciplinary training for health/rehabilitation/social professionals; development of protocols of cares for neurological related troubles; formal rehabilitation professional training)

Responsibility 2 :
Networking : Facilitate coordination and collaboration between national and international experts providing training and capacities building to the projects implementers

Responsibility 3 :
• Develop the technical competencies of the programme team

Responsibility 4:
• Quality Management: Closely support and monitor the use and application of quality standards and technical monitoring tools and support the development of advocacy and reference tools based on collected data

Responsibility 5:
• Ensure that the experience of the programme contributes to Handicap International’s knowledge base and professional know-how and externally

• Direct the implementation of financial strategy
• Direct the implementation of operational strategy


• Graduated in rehabilitation (OT, PT)
• Degree in education and/or training ( or knowledge/experience)
• Degree in public health ( desirable)
• knowledge of the rehabilitation sector both in the technical and operational aspects or national strategies and plans


• Professional experience within a similar function
• At least 5 years’ experience in development of comprehensive rehabilitation project in developing countries rehabilitation (center and community based approaches, training of health and rehabilitation professionals, multidisciplinary settings)
• Extensive experience in implementing monitoring and evaluation procedures, lessons learning processes
• Team management experience
• Good knowledge of regional and international networks on health and rehabilitation for/after neurological defects/trauma
• Experience in education methodologies such as: blended learning, e-learning…
• transfer of Skill and knowledge
• Professional experience within the country/region
• Experience within HI and HI tools preferable
• Other technical and interpersonal competences: English mandatory (oral and written), ability to work under high pressure with a great level of personal organisation, Persuasive and good Networking Skills
