To develop an integrated mental healthcare ecosystem that will take a life course approach for the prevention of Mental Health Disorders in children, adolescents and young adults. This study will be conducted at Bangladesh Medical University. This project involves identification of biomarkers at high risk infants and toddlers that can predict future Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, identification of personal environmental markers responsible for anxiety and depression.
The Research Assistant will report to the Assistant Scientist and will be responsible for screening, enrolling study participants, collecting data and performing different psychometric tools to conduct high-quality research within the guidelines of the research protocols; and organizational values and guidelines.
S/he will be involved in:
Understand and assess patients’ mental health condition using different psychometric tools such as Bayley-IV, WPPSI, ADOS-2 etc;
Screen and enroll study participants based on eligibility criteria;
Maintain communication with study participants and ensure follow up service receiving;
Collection of data and entry of data in the tab/web application;
Update to PI/Co-PI on study activities and challenges on monthly basis;
Record patient history using digital platform.
Required qualification and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/ Clinical psychology/Child development;
At least 1-year experience in a relevant field;
Experience in working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) will be an added advantage.
