The International Rice Genebank maintains the world’s largest collection of rice germplasm. Its main goals are to ensure the long-term preservation of all the germplasm and to make them available to all users worldwide. This position is in-charge of all the Center’s seed exchange activities in accordance with international laws and policies. The incumbent is responsible for backing up the Associate Scientist in supervising and overseeing staff, facilities, and operations to ensure that the collection is well preserved and the operations and facilities are within the international preferred standards.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Major in Crop Science (Preferably with specialization in Plant Genetic Resources, Seed Technology, Crop Physiology, or Plant Breeding) with at least 2 years of relevant work experience and or exposure to seed technology or genetic resources management activities.
