You will support the day-to-day work of the business area to which you are assigned.

Operating Network:

You will support the relevant team members in all administrative tasks, including screening and re-directing documents and e-mails, drafting correspondence or other communications and generally ensuring the smooth flow of information and logistical matters.

In addition, you will work in close cooperation with other colleagues across the EIF, as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Organise business trips, prepare and submit the relevant expense reports, when applicable;
  • Monitor work progress to ensure that the requests are successfully carried out in a timely manner;
  • Actively support the logistical organisation, coordination and preparation of internal and external meetings (on-site and/or virtual as appropriate);
  • Handle incoming and outgoing documents ensuring accurate and timely distribution;
  • Proactively monitor and manage accordingly the team’s shared e-mail inboxes and contacts database;
  • Ensure effective and accurate document / information management and archiving (electronic and hard copy documents and other information for easy access and retrieval);
  • Work closely with other EIF assistants in order to facilitate the timely implementation of tasks and respect of internal procedures and deadlines relevant to the team’s efficient functioning;
  • Provide back-up as necessary to the another assistant in the business area to which you are assigned.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Certified secondary-level education. Additional professional certificates or tertiary education would be a considerable advantage;
  • At least three (3) years relevant professional experience in a similar role with same level of responsibilities, preferably in a corporate governance environment, in the banking or financial sector;
  • Understanding of, or experience in, the following areas would be an advantage:
  • EIF's objectives, lines of business activity and organisation;
  • EIF's and EIB's governing bodies and institutional frameworks and the environment in which they operate;
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of another language of the European Union would be an asset;
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word; good command of other Microsoft Office tools.
