As Senior Humanitarian Education Advisor you will be the lead for the Education in Emergencies work across Save the Children with a chance to determine and design the scale and scope of their interventions providing direct impact and change for children. You will also provide technical and strategic guidance and in-country support for SCUK's Education Cannot Wait Multi-Year Resilience Programmes in Ethiopia, Palestine and Uganda. Supporting programme partnership and business development colleagues to identify and apply for new EiE opportunities and specifically ECW opportunities is also a key aspect of this role. In addition you will:
To be successful you will have a strong, proven track record of developing and delivering EIE programmes in challenging humanitarian contexts. Experience of fundraising, advocacy and capacity building is essential as is an academic/professional qualification at post graduate level or equivalent in education, development or a related subject.
