Job Description

The Senior Nutrition Programme Manager is expected to lead and oversee nutrition implementation to ensure timely and quality delivery of program activities as designed, and coordination of the emergency nutrition responses in the Rohingya response. They will provide leadership and continued support at field level, and ensure harmonious integration of the emergency nutrition response with multi-sectoral health and nutrition interventions, as well as other relevant sectors. The Senior Programme Manager will be responsible for budget management across multiple grants, follow up on all aspects of nutrition implementation, collaborate with other sectors, represent Nutrition team with other departments and manage the nutrition operations team.


  • At least 5 years of experience working in the field of nutrition, humanitarian/emergency and infant feeding;
  • Experience management large and complex programme in humanitarian context
  • Strong budget management skills
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of IYCF-E, Operational Guidance on IYCF-E and The Code;
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of CMAM, especially implementation and management of the OTP
  • Willingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when faced with difficult and frustrating working conditions;
  • Strong personal communication skills and ability to facilitate liaison between different sectors;
  • Good training skills, with a proven ability to build capacity of others;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English;
  • Can work well in highly stressful situations
  • Ability to think and act fast and problem solve.
  • High flexibility.
  • Strong sense of urgency and work ethic.
  • Understands and believes in Save the Children’s mission and vision; commits to its objectives and willing to adopt Save the Children’s methodology and framework.
