How can you make a difference?

The Supply Chain Officer reports to the Health Specialist (System Strengthening) for supervision. The Supply Chain Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance for the supply component of health and nutrition programme within the Country Programme, from development planning to delivery of results, by preparing, executing, managing, and implementing a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, and evaluating and reporting of results.

  • Programme management, monitoring and delivery of results
  • Technical and operational support to programme implementation

  • Innovation, knowledge management and capacity building

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • A university degree in one of the following fields is required: public health/nutrition, pediatric health, family health, pharmacy, supply chain and logistics, health research, global/international health, health policy and/or management, epidemiology, or another relevant technical field.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: health supply chain management, public health/nutrition planning and management with supply component, or maternal and neonatal health care with supply chain management.
  • Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
