Chemonics seeks a supply chain specialist for the anticipated Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (The Global Fund) In-Country Supply Chain Transformation Review in South Africa. The review will identify improvement opportunities to enable transformative supply chain projects in South Africa. The estimated start date for the position is the end of March 2018, and the duration is 13 weeks. The successful candidate will demonstrate deep knowledge of health supply chain systems in southern Africa, including organizational development and change management, forecasting and quantification, transportation and distribution, logistics management information systems and data visibility, pharmaceutical supply chain mapping, and supply chain assurance. The local supply chain specialist will supervise a team of consultants and will be primarily responsible for organizing, implementing, and finalizing the diagnostic assessment identifying agreed improvement areas.
