Under the supervision of the information system project manager, your objective will be to support the deployment of the chosen solution on IS missions and contribute to the general progress of the project in conjunction with the various stakeholders.

More specifically, you will be in charge of:

  • Organize the deployment of the solution on the target missions
  • Contribute to project management (strategy, planning, methodology, communication) and participate in the continuous improvement of the deployment of the chosen solution in conjunction with the information system project manager and the logistics services concerned
  • Prepare the deployment with the various actors concerned, at the headquarters and on the missions
  • Support the operational teams at headquarters and the coordinators concerned on the missions in the preparation and roll-out of the deployment for each mission concerned
  • Debrief and capitalize on each new deployment experience
  • Monitor the progress of the deployment on the missions
  • Design tools and carry out key training for the deployment of the chosen solution
  • Analyze the needs of different users to train in the tool and define the training mode best suited to each dissemination phase
  • Design the supports for the different phases of dissemination of the tool
  • Collaborate with the operational teams and the departments concerned for the overhaul of the technical business training by integrating the modules of the chosen solution
  • Train, if necessary, the business trainers, who will in turn train the end users
  • Contribute to the training of head office technical staff
  • Participate in feedback and knowledge sharing exercises with other NGOs using the chosen solution if relevant
  • Contribute to the development of the tool
  • Participate in the analysis phase of new modules: participation in business workshops, support in defining needs and designing tool interfaces
  • Participate in the validation of the tool
  • Contribute to the information system team
  • Participate in the recruitment and training of other trainers
  • Contribute to feedback exercises as part of the deployment of other solutions

Training and experience:

  • Holder of a Bac + 4/5 training in logistics, purchasing or equivalent
  • Professional experience of at least 3 years in a logistics position, including at least one year in a field logistics position for an NGO
  • Mastery of IS logistics tools and processes would be a plus

  • Multi-department, multi-site (headquarters and missions) and cross-functional project management
  • Curious about new training technologies
  • English/French: Read, spoken and written.
