Legal, policy, and comparative analysis  Objective: To identify legal, regulatory, and institutional gaps in Indonesia’s current beneficial ownership framework, assess its alignment with international standards, and identify effective regulatory and institutional models to inform the amendment of Presidential Regulation No. 

Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of the UNODC Anti-Corruption National Programme Coordinator, the following tasks will be undertaken to support the amendment of Presidential Regulation No. 13 of 2018 on Beneficial Ownership.
  • Transparency or drafting a new legal basis on the requirement of Beneficial Ownership Disclosure, or, where deemed appropriate by the Government of Indonesia, the development of a new legal basis governing beneficial ownership disclosure.
  • Legal, policy, and comparative analysis of Indonesia’s current beneficial ownership framework. 
  • Stakeholder Consultations to ensure that the amendment process is informed by practical implementation experience and stakeholder perspectives; 
  • Drafting of policy and regulatory recommendations to strengthen Presidential Regulation No. 13 of 2018.

Requirements:

  • Academic qualifications An advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in law or a related field is required.
  • A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
