The Project Assistant will provide administrative, logistical, coordination, and basic technical support for the implementation of the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation for Methane Mitigation (AKCMM) Project in Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the PM and the overall team of the AKCMM Project in Indonesia to coordinate project activities.
  • Closely coordinate with the FCS team in Indonesia and the PMU regional unit for administrative requirements.
  • Maintain stakeholder contact lists and engagement trackers.
  • Prepare logistics (venue, materials, agendas, invitations, attendance lists, tickets, and accommodation coordination).
  • Assist during event implementation.
  • Support post-event reporting and coordination, including travel claim processing and distribution of meeting minutes.
  • Assist in gathering information, inputs, and simple research.
  • Provide drafts of meeting notes, summaries, and basic communication materials.
  • Support coordination with related stakeholders, including participants, resource persons, and government partners.
  • Communicate meeting schedules, follow-up actions, and documentation.
  • Maintain project documentation for external and internal communications as well as reporting purposes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum bachelor’s degree in public policy, sustainable development, international relations, or other related fields.
  • Preferably 2 years or more of working experience in sustainable development or environmental fields.
  • Having a basic understanding of environmental and climate issues, with relevant academic or internship experiences, is considered an advantage.
  • Experience in working with the government (national and subnational level) and non-government counterparts on a day-to-day basis in Indonesia is essential.
  • Experience working in a multicultural and international organization, especially related to ASEAN, is preferred.
  • Experience in organizing events in a dynamic environment with a variety of stakeholders is highly preferred.
