The ILO seeks to hire a National Project Coordinator to carry out activities in Lima within the framework of the project From Protocol to Practice: A bridge to global action against forced labor - phase II (Bridge Project II) focused on action against forced labor. The project, funded by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL), is being implemented in five priority countries (Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Peru and Uzbekistan). Project activities in Lima will take place between September 1 and July 31, 2024.
The main purpose of the position is to manage the project, provide technical assistance to strengthen the capacities of law enforcement officials, as well as employers' and workers' organizations, to prevent and eradicate forced labor in Peru. The activities will be carried out in coordination with other ongoing ILO cooperation projects in Lima.
The National Project Coordinator (CNP) will be based in Lima, Peru. The CNP will execute and coordinate the Peru component of the Bridge project, phase II, ensuring timely and effective execution of project activities and results at the national level.
The National Project Coordinator will be responsible for the management of the project, including the execution, supervision and follow-up of all the activities necessary for the achievement of the objectives of the project and its corresponding results, in accordance with the work plan and the Comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation Plan (CMEP) for Peru.
