As a Treasury Analyst, you will undertake a variety of treasury-related analytical tasks to help oversee TD's local currency operations. You will also work on assigned tasks with occasional guidance, using your experience to create local currency pricing runs from ADB's counterparties. Additionally, you will work across all forms of documentation. Furthermore, you will participate in diverse project workstreams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support in reviewing existing market pricing, practice, and requirements for bond issuance and swap execution and determine the applicable terms and conditions for funding operations.
  • Help study and analyze local market regulations, settlements, and clearing systems. Evaluate cash flow models, hedging, pricing models, term sheets, pricing indications, and trade support.
  • Support in analyzing terms and conditions for bonds and swaps to ensure these are documented. Help communicate with internal parties (i.e., ADB departments) and collaborate with external parties, including underwriters, fiscal agents, and calculation agents, among others.
  • Support the review and maintenance of swap confirmations and borrowing documents.
  • Support the review and drafting of comments on project documents from the Private Sector Operations Department and regional departments that have local currency components.
  • Help review legal documents for local currency transactions to ensure they align with financing transactions and comply with TD operations and approvals.
  • Monitor primary and secondary market performance of ADB bonds, analyze market data, and provide regular market reports and briefings using Bloomberg and Reuters.
  • Obtain and analyze pricing inputs from bank counterparties for deposits, Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), and Cross Currency Swaps (CCS); develop transaction-specific pricing indications and support execution.
  • Conduct ongoing research on local-currency markets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, banking and finance, economics, business administration, or other related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate banking, risk management, or related fields.
  • Written and verbal proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in conducting research with good financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Knowledgeable of MDBs' financial policies, products, and operations.
  • Experience with financial and legal terminologies, loan agreements, guarantee agreements, and financial mathematics.
  • Knowledge in financial systems, such as Bloomberg and Reuters.
