Fixed Term – 6 months

£16,380 - £18,540 per annum (plus contributory pension)

We are seeking an HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team, which provides support and advice to MAG’s employees working in 20 countries across the world and to MAG HQ in the UK. Working with us, your administrative skills will help make a real difference, supporting our lifesaving work across the globe. You can use your existing administration skills and get new experience in HR whilst doing something really worthwhile with your time.

Based in our Manchester HQ, you’ll provide excellent administrative support to the HR team at HQ, looking after the administration systems which provide the framework for our projects overseas. This is a fast paced role in a small HR team, which will require high levels of organisation, attention to detail, pro-activity and multi-tasking. You’ll work on administrative tasks related to areas like recruitment, payroll, insurance, inductions and many more.

Previous experience of working in HR is not necessary, but you will need to have really strong administrative experience to ensure that all our processes are followed effectively. Above all, you will need to be approachable, flexible, super organised, have a good eye for detail and be ready to work in a busy role.
